Hi
I am about to take over updating a site that I did not develop. I would like
to capture the site the way it is currently and store it safely before I
begin to upload changes rather than redevelop the entire site from scratch. I
have published sites with Frontpage but can't recall if I can bring the
published site back to my PC as easily. Can someone guide me on a way I can
download the entire site for archiving before I begin to change it? Can this
be done with Frontpage? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in
advance.
Scott

You would open the site "live" and publish to your computer (the reverse of
publishing "up" to the server; you publish "down" to your PC.). The server
must be running the server extensions to be able to open the web live.

Thank you, I'll give it a try.

Thank you. I am going to upgrade to FP2003. Will the procedure described for
FP2000 still be applicable?
