Site Problem

Our site is currently only housed on our web service provider's
server. We have no local files at all. Obviously, this is a big
issue that I need to correct. However, I'm not having any luck
figuring out how to get my web files stored locally and changing the
site to only publish files I select, rather than publishing them upon
saving. I'm using FrontPage 2000 and the url is www.neha.org. Any
help you can provide is appreciated!

The online web has FPSE, so;

Open FP
File | Open Site
open your http://www.neha.org site
you now have your remote server site opened in FP
File | Publish Site
now enter a location on your local machine
C:\My Documents\My Websites\nehaweb (no extension and this can be named
ANYTHING you want - the path can be anything you want as well)
(that's for a disc based web - no server)
If you're running IIS server on your local machine your publish path would
be something like;
http://localhost/nehaweb (again no extension and nehaweb can be ANY name
you want)

then you will always work with your local copy and Publish UP to the
server.

I followed your instructions and everything seemed to be going well.
Then, the process shut down saying that I didn't have enough memory to
continue. However, this can't be the case, as I've checked the size
of the site and we should have plenty of room for all of the files.
I've rebooted and re-tried this a few times. Any ideas?

Memory is not disc space. A typical PC may have between 500MB and 3.5GB
of memory, but 300GB of disc space.
If memory is being used then you may have to close some running
applications, but first download FP Cleaner from
http://www.95isalive.com/fixes/fpclean.htm and run the routines that
delete the hidden web cache files, and delete the hidden temporary
files.
A corrupted web cache file can result in all available memory being
used.

Again, followed the new instructions to clear up and use less memory.
Now, I'm getting this error:
"Ran out of memory while trying to allocate 0 bytes." Any ideas?

A thought... is it possible to just download a few folders at a time
rather than the entire site? I've been looking for ways to do this,
but coming up empty. Thanks!

Yes
In the Remote web site view you can select any file in the remote site and publish (Drag or use the arrow) to the local site
