Saving and editing files to CD-RW

I have an RW Drive (orignal EZ CD Creator 4) used to be
able to format and use drag and drop just like an old
floppy. Can't seem to find anyway to get the same
funtionality from XP now that I have upgraded. Must I by
new software for the Easy CD Creator (version 6 from
Roxio)? Or, is there some way to use XP?
