I am using Excel 2007 and i want to save two work sheets as a PDF. I have the
addin for "save as PDF or WPS". The problem is the format changes when the
PDF is published. If i save the Excel through an acrobrat write the
formatting does not change but i am not able to publish two work sheets as
one PDF. I have just installed some up dates on my PC and now this problem is
occuring, any suggestions?

Hi Ron,

I have been running with Sp2 for a while now but installed some microsoft
updates the other week and since then the excel to PDF formatting has
crupted. Would you have any idea which update this could be? Maybe i would be
able to back track and remove that update!!

Thanks Rich

Hi,
I am having the same problem. We send large PDF financial files out on a
quarterly basis. In 2003, I have no problems converting the files and saving
them. I just changed to 2007 and saving to PDF has been a nightmare. The
financial table data appears to look fine but most of the charts slide off
the page. They all look great in pagebreak view, but as soon as they are
converted the charts move. I tried protecting the data which did not help.
Then we tried to make sure all the page breaks were hard breaks, which did
not make a difference. Short of running both versions of Excel on my
computer at work, any ideas? Is there a way to lock the placement of charts
on a page?
Hopefully someone will have a solution that will help a lot of us.
Thanks for any assistance.

I am having the same problem with excel 2007. One solution is to
download the acrobat pro so you can create pdfs from the print menu.
You can download a trial version from the adobe site. Hopefully by the
time your trial expires microsoft will have fixed this problem.
