Save as dialog does not appear when clicking on a download link

Hi

I hoping that someone can help me on this.

I am running MSIE 6.0.2800.1106.xsp2.0304022-1633. When
I left-click on a download link (ex. a zip file link) in
a web page, I do not get a save as dialog. All I get is a
new page with a small icon (has red square, blue
triangle, and blue circle inside it) at the top left-hand
corner of the screen!

I can still perform a 'save target as' by poping up the
context menu with a right-mouse-click.

Explorer may display a blank Web page that contains an ActiveX icon in the
upper-right corner. If you click the ActiveX icon, you may receive the
