SATA DVD ROM intsall

I will be building an AMD using SATA drives for everything. DVD burner, DVD
ROM and two HDD. Since the SATA drivers need to be loaded F6 and all that,
will Home XP SP2 be able to install using the SATA DVD ROM or will I need to
do some other kind of trick?

Check the motherboard specifications, being that the DVD will be a "Boot
Device" for the Windows installation the motherboard will be the one
responsible for booting it.
