Same open screen on XP Home & Pro after SP2

I just recently installed SP2 on 2 PC's, one running XP
Home and the other running XP Pro. Now when they boot
up, they both say the same thing "Microsoft Windows XP".
There is no differentiation between the Home and the Pro
machine. Is that correct?

Yes, that's correct and it's a SP2 feature change.
