safe mode

I am getting the message - outlook faild to start
correctly the last time - everytime I try to start
Outlook 2002 on our Windows 2000 citrix server. I start
in safe mode and then exit. When I go back into Outlook I
still receive the message. I go to help > about and there
are no disabled items.

One of our customers is having the same problem with
Outlook 2002 on their SBS 2000 running Citrix except they
only get the message every other time they try to start
outlook.

any suggestions are welcome.

Start in safe mode again and disable individual add-ons in Tools-> Options->
tab Other-> button Advanced E-mail Options...-> button Add-In Manager.../COM
Add-ins...

See if one of your add-ins is causing it.

Robert,

After much digging, I found the following article.

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-
us;319517&Product=ol2002

It has solved my problem and our customer's problem for
the moment. If the problem reoccurs, I will do as you
suggested.

Thanks,

Bill
