Outlook 2007 in Office Enterprise - failed to start correctly P

Attempt to launch - error message: "MS Office Outlook has stopped working.
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close
the program and notify you if a solution is available". Click 'Close
Program'.
Try to launch again - error message: "Outlook failed to start correctly last
time. Starting Outlook in safe mode will help you correct or isolate a
startup probelm in order to successfully start the program. Some
functionality may be disabled in this mode. Do you want to start Outlook in
safe mode?" Choose 'Yes'.
Outline of Outlook with header "MS Office Outlook (Safe Mode)" starts to
appear followed by error message: "Outlook failed to launch in safe mode. Do
you want to start Detect and Repair? Choose 'Yes'.
Window then configures Office Enterprise 2007 and get message 'Setup Complete.
"http://support.microsoft.com/kb/298838 says "You can either click YES to
start Outlook in safe mode and disable add-ins or extensions...."
And what do you do when the solution from MS is to start in safe mode but
you can't get in to safe mode?
