installed Office SP2, now Outlook does not start

Running on Vista Enterprise, 64bit Office Enterprise 2007

Installed Office SP2 update today. Now Outlook does not start. No
error code, only the message:

"Microsoft Office Outlook has stopped working.
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will
close the program and notify you if a solution is available."


I get the same message whether I try to start the program normally, or
if I click the "start in safe mode" box.

Use your System Restore feature to revert to a restore point prior to the
update. One will have been made.
