Safe Mode?

I'm having trouble with my PC and want to restart in Safe Mode to try a
System Restore but can't seem find safe mode.

My laptop is running XP Pro and I can start this one OK. Is the process
different for XP Home?

Hit F-8 after bootup but prior to the Windows Xp Pro page...this should bring
you to a page that will allow you to run Safe Mode
