S-VHS-connected output device

Hello,
I have an Acer TM 291LCI notebook running Win XP Home and containing an
Intel 82852/82855 GM/GME-Graphicadapter which has an S-VHS-output. I
would like to use my television which is connected via S-VHS to Scart as
my video-output-device. Now the notebook does not detect my television
in any way. What am I supposed to do?

Connect notebook to TV. Turn TV on. Reboot notebook. It should now 'see'
the TV.
