RupsWin Message

I just upgraded WIndows 98 to Windows XP. Now everytime
I log on I get a RupsWin Message, saying that there is a
Connection Error! Please check UPS cable, then restart
Windows.

I have check connection and restarted several times with
no luck. Hope you can help me.

Perhaps you need to uninstall your ups connection and any related
software and reinstall it. Depending on the make/model of your ups, XP
may not need any additional software. You configure the ups service in
the Power applet from Control Panel - there is a tab for ups.
