When running sfc /scannow I get the following message: Files that are
required for Windows to run properly have been replaced by unrecognized
version. To maintain system stability windows must restore original versions
of these files. Insert you XP Home Edition CD-ROM now. The next window
refers to a problem with DLL Cache. I cancelled this program as was not sure
what steps to take.
Since I have SP-2 installed, can I still use the original Installation
CD-ROM. Or should use this, and the follow with the Disk containing SP-2.
I am using Adaware, Syybot, CounterSpy, and NIS and occasionally CW Shredder
so computer is clean to my knowledge, but may have deleted some necessary
files.
