Running Embedded on a Hard Drive

I am trying to build a PVR that uses XPe as the OS. I want to put XPe
to boot from a single hard drive (C:) with no other hard drives. What
do I need to do to prepare the hard drive and have XPe boot from C:\.
Again this is the Target Device; one hard drive (C:), one OS (XPe) --
no dual boot. All I seem to find is dual booting XPe from a hard
drive. I don't want this option.

Thanks!

Put the target drive into another machine temporarily (I often use a USB
drive enclosure) go into Disk Administrator, format the disk and mark it
as active. Copy on your image, bung it into the target hardware and off
you go.
