rundll.exe process hangs the system with 100% CPU usage

Hi,

I have Windows 2000 server installed on my system.

Whenever the system is started, immediately after a
few minutes there are two processes starting
1) rundll.exe
2) lass.exe

which consume 100% of CPU and the system hangs and no
other operation can be performed.
I tried to end these processes but they seem top
appear again and the second time they can't be
terminated as I get the message "Access denied".

COuld you please advice me on this issue.

Just delete them, or isolate them somewhere, and try again.
If you cannot, start windows in cmd mode, then do this.
