CPU at 80-100%

Over the weekend, my CPU has started working at 80-100% usage. I have added
nothing to my Win 2000 system.

The System process which normally runs at 0-2% is now averaging 50% usage,
with the balance bouncing through a variety of different processes.

I have run Norton Anti-Virus a number of times to be safe.

Nortons AV is VERY memory hungry and prob THE MOST memory hogging AV
program out there. When you run any AV program then you will find that
for some period after, the processors are running high until the
software returns to a monitor state. Using Task Manager (Processes)
click on the CPU twice to prioritise the feedback. See which program is
hogging ALL of the CPU's...
