Rules processing

Okay, is it possible to create a rule in Outlook that will process a message
based on the Sender, and move it to a Personal folder for that Sender? I
know it's possible to specifically look for a message from Sender X and move
it to Folder X, but what about multiple senders?

Here's why. Normally, most of my users save messages based on who sent it
but the only way to organize this stuff is to sort your Outlook From column
and then highlight all of that particular users emails and drag them to the
appropriate Personal folder. I would like to help them automate this but I
can't figure out how to write the rule to allow this.

Any help would be appreciative.

If I understand your question correctly you want to move e-mails from
multiple senders (ex. (e-mail address removed) or (e-mail address removed) or (e-mail address removed)) and
have any message from these accounts moved to a specific folder. If this is
correct then here are the steps:
1. Open Outlook.
2. Go to Tools -> Rules and Alerts.
3. Click on New Rule.
4. Click on Start from a blank rule.
5. Click Next.
6. Select "from people or distribution list" and then click on the link in
the bottom portion of the window to select the appropriate contact or
distribution list and then Click on Next.
7. Select "move it to the specified folder" and then click on the link in
the bottom portion of the window to select the appropriate folder and then
Click on Next.
8. Now Click on Finish.

This should do what you are expecting. I hope this information is helpful.

What I want to be able to do is move the messages from jon1, jon2 or jon3 to
a folder called jon1, jon2 or jon3, depending on who it is from. Is this
possible?

What you could do here is setup 3 different rules, i.e.
one rule for Jon1 where it goes to Jon1 folder, another
for Jon2 where it goes to Jon2 folder and another for Jon3
where it goes to Jon3 folder.

Jignesh.

You'll need to use a 3rd party addin - I know exlife from ornic.com can
do it, there may be others. A list of know utilities is at slipstick.com.
