Rules in outlook 2007 & 2003

Hi there

I am running XP SP2 with office 2007. On a network with exchange 2003.
I want to setup a rule that when I send a mail and it comes back undelivered
that it gets forwarded to another e mail address but am having some problems.
When the mail gets returned it has "Undeliverable" in the subject line so I
setup a rule that whenever a mail is received with that in the subject that
it gets forwarded to another address.
It returns to me with undeliverable in the subject but does not forward to
the intended recipient.
I tried the redirect option as well as a rule with no luck.

Any ideas will be appreciated.

PS: I tried this on office 2003 as well with no luck.

Hi

Thanks for the reply. I asked the server guys to enable the feature you
speak of but still have no luck.
Any further ideas?

You only enabled it just to allow automatic forwarding and replying to the
Internet? It could take a while for changes to take affect.

Is your server creating the NDR? I don't think all of the rule actions work
on NDRs. If they come in from another server and don't have the special
icon, all rule actions should work.
