Outlook Rules and Alerts - Outlook 2007, Vista

I have a rule set up to automatically forward incoming messages to another
e-mail address. It works, but the forwarding doesn't happen until 10 or 12
hours later. Anyone know how I can speed this up?

The forwarding is instant. The delay probably has to do with your account
configuration and/or the mail servers involved. Your post does not contain
enough details to give a more direct answer.
