Rules don't fire automatically in Outlook 2007

Outlook 2007 (Windows XP) user has created 2 rules to forward emails with
specific words in the sender's address and specific words in the subject line
to several other recipients. Rules aren't firing automatically. They do
work if we manually run them. Same rules worked great in Outlook 2003.
When she got new computer with 2007, we cleaned all rules and started from
scratch. Any suggestions on what we're doing wrong? Thank you.

This is a shot in the dark but see if the "on this machine only" setting is
set on each rule. If so, try removing it and see if the rules work. I've run
into that sort of issue once before.

Post the exact text of all of the rules (masking any mail addresses, of
course) and an example of a message that you think should trigger them.

There are 3 rules showing:
1. Apply this rule after the message arrives with (e-mail address removed) in the
sender's address and with TRAVEL ADVANCE (R) in the subject forward it to (4
internal addresses & 1 external address). Doesn't forward to anyone.
2. Apply this rule after the message arrives with PRSA in the sender's
address and with PR Issues and Trends in the subject forward it to (4
internal addresses)
3. Clear categories on mail (recommended).

From: (e-mail address removed) [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of
(e-mail address removed)

Clearly this address doesn't match what your rule specifies so it's no
wonder that it doesn't get forwarded. If I were doing this, I'd use just
:travadv@att as the specified string.

I had the user edit the travadv rule as per your suggestion. They both work
now! Many thanks.
