Rules duplicating forwarded messages

I have a rule set up where 8 people in a distribution group automatically
cc's their messages to each other and forwards their outgoing messages to the
C.F.O. As a result, the CFO gets 8 duplicates of each email. How can I
avoid this duplication. Or, is there a rule that will delete the duplicates
and keep the original?

there is no rule you can use to remove the dupes or test the mailbox to see
if he got a copy already.
