rules don't work after installign office 2003 sp1

Hello, ever since I installed Office 2003 sp1 the when an email arrives to my
Inbox the rules don't work! When I click refresh or send/recieve or reply or
in general do an action that performs a refresh on the Inbox rules work!

Same thing happens to a collegue of mine.

Any ideas?

Sounds like you have your firewall enabled and blocking UDP packets.

You mean company's firewall or outlook's firewall? If it's the later how can
I disable it?

Well, Outlook has no firewall, but Windows XP does. Click Start>Control
Panel>Security Center>Windows Firewall.
