Rules about copies of XP?

How about a new thread. Some of us don't have 5 foot monitors to see the threading.

It does show your conflict of interest, since you're a MS partner.

That's the second lamest thing I've seen from you Kurt. We're a partner in
order to qualify for the services and licenses that allow us to operate
the business at a lower cost. There is no conflict in that, actually using
MS's systems to lower or operational costs - a conflict?

Lets take a look: I don't install ISA, we use WatchGuard, I would never
trust ISA. We do spec XP workstations and 2003 servers and SQL database
servers and Exchange 2003 servers, but we also setup Linux workstations
for shops, install non-MS email servers, install non-MS web servers,
install MySQL databases, and design web applications that are supported by
both ASP/ASP.Net and Mono in addition to Java and ColdFusionMX. Seems to
me we're about 50/50 on the solutions and save a ton of money on licensing
by being a partner and ISV - doesn't look like a conflict to me, it looks
like taking advantage of the programs that MS puts in place to help
businesses that build solutions WITH MS products.

And what makes you think Tom or anyone reads every post in a thread
they participate in? Or that you are all that rememberable?

What makes you think that I would make a comment asking a question
like that if he was not an active participant in the discussion where
I posted that information?

[snip - for Kurt]

Was it in response to him, or did he respond to it? You just ASSume.
How fitting!

It was in a response which was in an active discussion that he was
involved in. And since you've read it, it just makes the point that you
are an a$$ even clearer.

Like I said, the first post I saw it in, was a thread that didn't have
much traffic, and the rest were in response to me bringing it up. Of
course I'm not so arrogant or delusional as to assume everyone, that is
active in one of the threads I'm posting in, reads everything that I
write in any given thread.

1.) I don't rationalize. I have fully developed opinion based on
facts, the law, and legal precedent, and I have the ability to
demonstrate in minute detail.

2.) Your rationalizations, about your obvious conflict of interest due
to your business relationship with Microsft, only work in lying to
yourself. I doubt any reasonable human being is buying your BS about
it.

Look troll - he was active in the thread where I mentioned it, that would
seem to indicate that he was reading the thread - but since you only see
what you want to see, I expected as much of a stupid reply from you.

And that indicates to you that he read all of your nonsensical posts?
Again I ask you, did you say it in direct reply to him, or did he reply
to a post wher you mentioned it.

I know I often don't read sub-threads involving others, though I may be
very active elsewhere in the thread.

No, that would be your unsubstantiated ASSumption! :p

I only see what I see, that which I don't see, I don't make stupid
assumptions about. You aren't that compelling of a personality that
people have any desire to read your posts.

Hey kurtrattail,

Didn't you just ask me to prove you're a rude, trolling type? And then
ignore the questions I asked, knowing what I could come back with?

I can repost your history list if you'd like. It's up to you. You are an
imbecile and a flameout just waiting to happen. You need to just clench
your sphincters, go back under your dark, dank bridge, and reattach your
lips to the sewer pipe, where you're happier.
I'll bet you also think it's OK to pirate software, download copyrighted
music, tap into a cable TV box, unscramble TV signals off the air, and think
seriously about killing anyone that looks sideways at you, don't you?

Get a diet going!

Leythos,

You do know of course, that you are feeding a troll, right? The best thing
to do with bass turds like that is starve it (the troll) to death with
silence. It really bugs them to no end and usually there will be a spate of
foulness spread around, and then they drift into whatever stupor it is they
return to in the darkness.
I sometimes go at them too, when they succeed in getting someone to
respond more than once or twice, becuase it makes them all the madder when I
won't bite and get mad back at it. I mean, the toll. It leads a solitary
life of mental confinement so pity it, but don't ever feed it. Especially
at night <g>.

Regards,
Pop

Leythos,

POP, I've been on Usenet since around 84, long enough to know trolls and
other types. While I've accused Kurt of trolling, and it has appeared to
be trolling at times (IMHO), he does have his complete right to state his
opinion (and I've never tried to stop that). While I don't agree with his
assertions, I do know a LOT of people that believe the say way - that
doesn't make them trolls.

His points "may" be proven to be valid and they may never be proven, but
he has a right to state them in a public forum when they are related to
the topic. There are time, most of those threads, where I could have been
considered a troll as I was playing too.
