Rule not forwarding to Hotmail

We have a user who needs his email forwarded to his
Hotmail account when he's out of town. The rule is set to
forward to a Contact address which is his Hotmail address
and it's a server rule. We are running Outlook 2000 SP3,
Windows 2000 server and Exchange is version 5.5 Build
2653.23 SP4. Has anyone seen this occur before and have a
resolution? Thanks, Katherine

can you forward to other outside addresses? Exchange has an option that
doesn't send automatic forwards to the internet and it's probably set.
