RTHDCPL.exe - Ilegall system DLL relocation

F

FreeStyler

When I start my laptop I get a message:
The system DLL user32.dll was relocated in memory. The application will not
run properly. The relocation occured because the DLL
c:\windows\system32\HHCTRL.OCX occupied an adress range reserved for Windos
system DLLs.

RTHDCPL.exe is Realtek HD Audio Control

How it happens and is it possible to fix it without reinstalling. Like in
Linux world :)

I called E Machines with the same problem. I was told a recent upgrade from
MS caused the problem and I needed to go on the net to Microsoft.com. On the
right is a box for a search. Put in the number 935448. It will give five
results. Select number 5 which is a page about your error. When you download
it, the error disappears.
