RRAS Setup

Does the RRAS server need to be a Domain Controller or just a member server?
If so, does it need to be in the same domain? I will be placing this server
in the DMZ.

Thanks alot!

Hi,

No RRAS does not have to be on a DC, in fact I would recommend it to be on
a member server instead. It can be in the domain and that makes it very
simple to configure for domain users to connect. it could also be in a
trusted domain or in no domain at all. You may also want to consider using
RADIUS (IAS).
