RRAS and domain master

Hi

We have single W2K domain on flat network (no routers).
If I check domain member server with "browstat gm 1 domainname", I get
correct
name for domain master (which has all FSMO roles). Local network browsing is
OK.

When I configre same member server as RRAS VPN server (with wizzard), I get
local
computer name as domain master (checked with same command "browstat gm 1
domainname").
Browsing with member server becomes slow and same is with VPN clients.

Questions:
which server should be found on RRAS (VPN) as domain master with "browstat
gm 1 domainname" ?
How to improve browsing with VPN clients ?

This happens because the server becomes multihomed as soon as a VPN
client connects. See KB 292822 for a discussion of this problem (ie enabling
remote access on a DC).
