If a client has MSN active, if a client is surfing on the internet, if a
clients has spyware, if a client has a virus, if you haven't configured your
server properly, you can see this happen. To find out the culprit, unplug
the modem and check your logs to see what is wanting to dial out.

Marina,
What do you mean by not configuring the server properly ? Do you
mean the event log ? I have dns client and dns server running.

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

No, I'm talking about the servernics. How many do you have in your server?
Does DNS on the nic(s) point to your server-IP only?

Hi Daniel,

If DNS-server is running, make sure that DNS on the nic is pointing to the
server-IP. In DNS-server, check if it is only listening to the server-IP.
You put the ISP-DNS-numbers in tab Forwarders.
