Hi all,

I am a teenager who likes to play online games as do many, i have games like
cossacks (european wars), age of empires II & III, command & conquer etc. i
can play command & conquer online using Gamespy or running the game (i prefer
gamespy). When i use gamespy to connect to hosts computers to play age of
empires II & III or cossacks, i always get an error saying unable to connect.

I have a d-link router (DSL-G604T) and on my pc im running on a wireless USB
adapter (d-link DWL-G122). is it my router firewall as my firewall is letting
the programs through (zone alarm)? I have tried to disable the firewall but
then my internet connection doesn't connect. Can someone help me please?

Thanks

You probably need to set up port forwarding on the router. Some game ports
are listed in the router. You just have to activate them. Here is a site
that gives directions.
