You should have posted all that you have been told to do so we don't
waste our time. Reply with all that you did and exactly what virus was
in your system and how was it treated plus your OS & antimalware
complete & exact details.

This reads as if you might still have an infected or corrupted system.

Run chkdsk /f & reboot, then from a command prompt, run the "System File
Checker":

<http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310747>

From a command prompt: "sfc /scannow" and reboot. You /will/ need your
system's installation media.

Then, google for MBAM & SAS. Download, & *update*, then reboot & run in
safe mode.

Completely update this thread with your detailed progress.

Else, "Flatten & Rebuild", your choice...

thankyou for the reply as u probably could tell i`m abit of a novice but i
ran sfc/scannow kept telling me i needed the disk as i needed some files the
disk i do not have i opened hidden files so the computer could acess the dll
cache but still asked for the disk so i can only assume that folder was also
infected and altered in some way i`m guessing the only thing left is to
replace the software (omg) cant beleive it seeing i had norton 360 operating
at the time when i was infected typical had to remove norton at the time as
when infected i was unable to access norton and had constant crashes i have
now replaced with kaspersky wich seems to be doing a good job but i guess
dammage was allready done, sorry if i dont have much more info without
guideance i cant retreive the info u might need to help me i guess i wa
hoping there would be a quick fix,
thanx very much for your help.

Good lord, would you figure out how to use punctuation and paragraphs? It
would make it considerably easier to read your problem(s).

Hello S. Smith:

I, and the others, are having severe trouble with understanding and
comprehending your posts.

However, your system probably needs serious professional help that may
be beyond your abilities and experience. If you can not restore your
system from a recent backup, then your quickest, safest and most
complete solution is to reformat your hard disk and reinstall from the
Windows media that should have come with your system.

Best wishes to you,

Pete
