Roaming Profile not updated

I need help on this issue which has been bugging me for a
long time.

My company's domain is still in NT4 and the clients are
utilising roaming profile. However, I am not sure since
when, my profile is not updated when changes are made.

Most noticable are files/shortcuts which I deleted from the
desktop. After rebooting, the deleted files/shortcuts will
reappear.

Any help?

Look in your event logs for userenv errors (app log).
Also, go to control panel, system, find the user profiles section, and see
whether yours is set to roaming.....
