Roaming profile error

When a user logs into a Win2k server her roaming profile
does not load. An error appears "Windows cannot create the
profile directory for \\servername\profiles\username.pds.
It then proceeds to load the local profile.

The path does exist but I don't know what the .pds is or
why its causing this error. Any ideas?

Go back to your user account properties on the server and under their "Profile" tab instead of what is there already change it to this

\\servername\profiles\%username

it will change it their proper username

secondly - make SURE that the PROFILES folder is SHARED properly

Create a new guy instead to test first - nice and clean

Also - you ARE running an Active Directory network right
