Roadrunner e-mail being received on AOL account

Regarding your receiving problem, it sounds like something at
Roadrunner is configured to forward your incoming email to AOL.

Regarding your sending problem, do you get an error message when
you try? If so, right-click on it, copy, then paste it into a reply here.

Since 11/4 people who send me e-mails to my Roadrunner address receive an
error that the message couldn't be delivered to ****@aol.com. I haven't had
that aol account in 10 years! I went to aol and reactivated that account so
I can receive e-mails but I still can't send from my Windows mail account
with Roadrunner.

Can anyone explain this or give me a fix???

You haven't entered the correct mail server names for that account.
You get the correct server names from your mail service provider.
If you don't know who that is, what is the part of your email address after
the @ symbol?

Live.com Settings:

Server names and ports:
POP3 = pop3.live.com Port = 995
SMTP = smtp.live.com Port = 587

Checkboxes you need to check include:

Server Tab: "My server requires authentication" (Click "Settings" button
also and fill in "Log on Using" email address - *** but do NOT check the
checkboxes there . . . .)

Advanced Tab: BOTH outgoing and incoming - "This server requires a secure
connection (SSL)"

General Tab (if desired but generally recommended): "Include this account
when receiving mail or synchronizing"

Should work - if you get errors post the entire error message (cut-n-paste)
for further assistance.

too . . . . add my instructions to your info sheets for future reference . .
