New computer/ can't receive emails from our previous email address

Tried searching the threads with no luck. Here's my situation:

I have a Roadrunner account and recently purchased a new desktop equipped
with Windows Mail.

I set up our email accounts. We can send from our created email addresses
but not receive with no error messages.

For example, lets say that Roadrunner provided me with (e-mail address removed),
that works fine w/ sending/receiving but we don't use that address @ all.
But if we tried our created addresses (ones that we have been using for
years) ex. (e-mail address removed) and (e-mail address removed), we can send
emails but not receive anything.

We're stuck so any helpful advice is truly appreciated.

BTW, I was running OE6 before and I know from reading the threads that we
can't seperate identities. Just want to know how to retrieve emails through
those addresses. Thanks, Jay.
