Ris problem with default user and win xp sp2

We are starting to deploy Xp sp2 here and with win 2000 we would customize a
profile and overwrite the default user profile to carry over customizations
to each new user. However when we upload a xp image to ris the default user
folder is being switched back to the standard one. Is there anyway around
this?

Hi,
I wanted to to the same thing. The problem is that the Setup of Windows
regenerates the NTUSER.dat of the Default User at the end of Setup, no matter
what. So what I did is the following:
s I copied my customized default profile to the Default User directory by
using cmdlines.cmd and named my NTUSER.DAT as NTUSER.BAK.
Then, I wrote a batch script that replaces the NTUSER files and reboot the
machine and put it in the RunOnceEx registry key. then, I configured a the
windows to do AutoLogon for administrator 1 time only so the RunOnceEx key
will be executed before any of my users will logon to the machine.
after the reboot, the NTUSER.dat is replaced, and my default user applies.
