right click

help please. i run windows xp, have a couple of xp manager programs whick
have registry editing functions. when right clicking a a file the send to
desktop or create shortcut function has disappeared and it has added heaps of
other functions to the right click menu. could one of the programs altered
the registry to create this problem or any other ideas on how to restore the
right click to its original behaviour? also it takes a long time to bring up
the menu once right click has been pushed.
