Right click in "My Computer"

Windows XP Home SP3. When I right click on my DVD or CD drives, the text in
the drop down menu is shifted to the right and wraps around on the left. It
only happens on the DVD and CD drives. All the other devices have the text
formatted correctly. Is this a registry problem? If so can it be corrected
accordingly? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Hi Ron,

Try it in Windows Safe Mode and see if it happens. It might be an entry
any CD/DVD software you have installed is causing.

But did you see what it looks like in Safe Mode?

Implement the Microsoft Windows XP part in the link below:

Terry, just booted to Safe Mode and the formatting appears to be correct. Other
than the text is larger because of the safe mode video. Booted back to normal
mode and it is corrupted there.

Terry,
found it ! Adaware had the context menu box ticked and that was
the culprit. Unticked it and problem solved. Now I realize that a new version
was donwloaded as an update and that box was ticked by default.

Jose, thank you also for your response.

I thought it was some software causing it, but didn't consider Adaware.
Glad you got it fixed Ron.
