Ridding XP graphics on bootup.

In Win 98 using TweakUI you could turn of the grachics while 98 booted
up so a person could see what was going on if anything like when new
software, hardware, etc was installed such as memory to see if it was
picked up or whatever.

Is it possible to set up Windows XP the same way so as to see what is
anything is happening?

yes - no - I don't know.
