revocation information not available for banking site

Gary Roach

i'm running ie6 under millennium. when i try to go to a banking site
(www.pcbanking.cibc.com), there's a long delay and a lot of link traffic (so
much that a dial-up connection will time out). this is strange because the
page is very small. sometimes i get a message that says: "revocation
information for this security certificate is not available. Do you want to
proceed anyway?" any idea what the problem is? this machine is supposed to
be used with a dial-up connection and as such it can't access the banking
site. i've tried deleting all certificates pertaining to this site but no
luck. also, i just finished cleaning netsky P off this computer - would that
have anything to do with it? all other sites that i've tried work fine.
thanks for any help,

gary

Also update your virus definitions and then run a full system scan. From
now on, do both daily.
