Anyone know what Reverse Gossip Transport Protocol is
used for???

It's a protocol to read and post to bulletin boards. It's
mainly used on a board called GROGGS at Cambridge University.
There's a client which runs in Emacs, another which works
over CGI and a third which works from the Unix command-line.
