Retrieve data after format????????!!!!!

I have a huge problem. I was running WIN 2000 and
formatted my drive in order to do a full new install to
WIN XP (due to corrupt files etc. ) However there are a
few files i didn't back up and they are EXTREMELY
important to me. It was a FAT 32 file system and now I
have an NTFS WIN XP system. How can I retrieve the
previous files I had on my Fat 32 WIN 2000 system.
PLEASE HELP. I heard you can retrieve data after
formatting your drives. Any programs? Advice would be
greatly appreciated.

Incorrect statement! You "may" be able to retrieve data after formatting. I
have never been successful. It depends upon where on the hard drive the file
resided and whether or not the disk space has since be over written.

You can try something like EasyRecovery Professional from www.ontrack.com.
