restoring active desktop .. every time

constantly have to restart active desktop. what is causing this fault. help
areas don't discuss it. None of the stuff on the startup notification is
relevant ...

Try creating a new user account,open xp in new,if all works as it normally
should,youre other account is corrupted.You could then run file transfer
wizard,
set as old computer,select files,settings etc for it to save,save in new
folder
you create,once data is completed to new folder,move to cd.
