Restore to earlier date

D

Daphne

I want to restore my computer (I have XP) to an earlier
date. I go to Control Panel, Recovery Wizard, System
Recovery,Windows System Restore, Restore to an earlier
date. But then it gives me only the current month. Even
though there are arrows at the top, I can't go to the
last month.
Any ideas? Thanks for any help anyone can give.

Hi,

Only "so" many restore points are retained (approximately 12% of the drive
space), older ones are systematically removed as newer ones are created. How
many exist depends on how much you have on your system. If there are no
restore points with the prior months date, then the option to go back to it
will not exist.
