I need my PC to restart every 6-8 hours. I have downloaded the Shutdown
Windows utility and it works fine but only reboots it once a day. That
appears to ne the minimum in Task Scheduler- Is there a utility that will
allow me to reboot the PC hourly??

What makes you think that the resolution of the Task Scheduler is
one full day? It's one minute! I suggest you have another look. Use
the "Advanced" buttons.

As Stated on the other reply post you should be able to configuere task
scehuler to run the utility for you.

Might i suggest that you modify the batch file to include a few other
fetures, for instants if i user is logged on and has open files they may wish
to save thier progress before the reboot, you may wish to close any
connections the system has to the network servers.

it may also be worth keeping in mind that you are able to store the batch
file on your server and have it remotly re-boot the system, this will make
your administration much more simple. i have all the code if you need it.
