Resource meeting request not removing from caledar

I am using Outlook 2000 to setup mailboxes for use as Resource Rooms

I have set the Resource Scheduling options to automatically process meeting
requests and cancellations.

It is now accepting meeting requests. However, if a user deletes a meeting
in the originators calendar, then the meeting shows up as "Canceled: ????? "
in the resource. It did not used to do that before I just applied a bunch of
security patches to the server.

Is there any way that this entry can be automatically deleted from the
resource calendar instead of being marked as cancelled?????

Thanks
Gordon

YOu should probably ask this in an Exchange group as resource scheduling
falls under more Exchange knowledge than Outlook.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After furious head scratching, Gordon asked:
