Resource Calendar

Nick Nack

Hello,
I have setup a new mailbox which will be used to schedule our board room. I
decided to use this method has it should automatically accept or decline
requests based on availability.

I have shared the calendar to all the required people and set the scheduling
options to 'automatically accept meetings and process cancellations' and also
the 'automatically decline conflicting meeting requests'.

I have done some tests on this and the automatic bit is not working. I can
see the request in the resources inbox but it is not automatically responding.

Any ideas what needs needs to be done.

Thanks

Nick

Hi Diane,

I've been waiting for at least three hours for a reply and nothing has
happened. I can see the invitation in the invox for the boardroom.

If you configured the resource by opening it into your own
profile, then you have configured your own profile to
auto-accept, not the resource. You need to open the
resource account into its own profile and then make the changes
to the configuration.

The following articles explain in detail how to configure the resource
and how to book it correctly.

Do you use the direct booking configuration or the Auto Accept Agent?

The following articles explain in detail how to configure the resource
and how to book it correctly if you are using Direct Booking.

However, If you use Exchange Server I would suggest the use
of the AutoAccept Agent. We use this with great success.
