Resource Mail Boxes

David Brown

I have created an account in our 2003 AD for one of the conference rooms for
resource scheduling. Using Outlook I enable automatic accept and reject.
My expectation was that when someone invited the resource to a meeting they
would get an automatically generated acceptance back from the invitation but
that is not happening. The request for acceptance just lands in the
resource mailbox. I can not find any other reference on how to get the
resource to send and automatic response. What am I missing?
Thanks,
-David

PS we use exchange 2003 SP2

The following articles explain in detail how to configure the resource
and how to book it correctly.

However, If you use Exchange Server I would suggest the use
of the AutoAccept Agent. We use this with great success.
