Resolution notice...help please??

I have bought some games for my grandchildren to play but a resolution notice
keeps appearing every minute or so stating...For best picture quality change
resolution to 1280x1024(I have checked and thats what it is).Underneath it
says 1.Clear message. 2.Disable message.Nothings happening when I'm clicking
on 2 to disable and this very annoying message alert keeps coming back....can
anyone suggest how to get rid of it permanently...I'd be very grateful for a
solution.

Presumably, you can't get passed these messages.. it could be that your
system is not up to handling the games.. this is happening more all of the
time, especially with older or budget systems..

I see this message occasionally on my ViewSonic LCD screen.

If you are seeing the same thing that I see, the message refers to the
numbered buttons on the front of your monitor. Take a close look at the
buttons and you should see the numbers. Hit 2 to disable and you SHOULD be
all set.
