Resizing IE 6

Everytime I open IE 6 it opens very small. I want it to
open maximized every time. Any suggestions?

Open such a link.
Don't use the maximize button.
Stretch the edges/corners so that the window fills the screen.
Close all other IE windows.
Close the stretched window.
 
Open only one window
Set it to maximize
Use File - Exit
Open new window

This works for me in XP IE6.0
Don't ask me why
 
Frank, I tried this one in both Safe and Real Modes, no
success. Thank you for the effort!
